Thank you Poketo for blogging about my work. I am collaborating with a set designer, Adi Goodrich and I will be photographing experimental family/friend/pet holiday portraiture at Poketo this Saturday!
I am super excited to announce that I will be collaborating with my dear friend and set designer, Adi Goodrich and shooting an Experimental Holiday Family/Pet/Friends Portraiture! Bring your kids, pets and favorite friends if you want to be photographed by me! It is going to be at POKETO in downtown LA. My favorite store EVER!!!
I am currently working on a few different jobs. I am being asked to collaborate on ideas and organize shot list more and more these days. I often end up borrowing my daughter’s paint set (when she is not looking) and sketch away! Sriracha usually inspires me….
It must suck real bad to go on a vacation with photographer mommy. Sorry.
I worked on stills for this British “Sky Broadband” commercial With ad agency WCRS London back in May. I could not get over the size of production AND meeting Mr Al Pacino in person was so surreal. Here is the finished commercial. Very talented Peter Lydon directed this.
Story Worldwide NY hired me to come up with this concept for Timeshare Fraud article written for one of their clients, RCI. It was staged, styled and shot by me! It is always exciting to work closely with creatives and bounce ideas back and forth.
Here is what my first round of sketch looked like….
This is one of my proudest moments. I was asked to shoot a cover of Guardian Weekend magazine last week and it is out now!
LA-based portrait and lifestyle photographer Meiko Takechi Arquillos always makes awesome pictures of kids. This promo she sent a while back features some work she did for Paul Frank. It’s a simple quarter fold that opens up into a poster. Printed with great color on nice uncoated stock.
I have heard that kids can be difficult to photograph, with the fidgeting and whatnot. Meiko always makes it look easy and fun. Probably because for her it is. This promo is a great reminder of that, and it also flashes some of her still-life work, which is not to be missed.
PDN’s Promos We Kept wrote about my promo piece. Thank you Conor!
